Hosting A More Than Wins Camp or Clinic At Your School or Club

1. How Much Does It Cost?

• We charge by the hour - roughly $250-$400 per hour depending on the total number of hours and how many MTW assistants are needed for your event.

• Reasonable Travel Fees: Depending on flight costs/miles driven, lodging costs, meal allowances and time in transit. We certainly work with you to keep these costs down as we do strive to make clinics affordable!

• Note: Charging by the hour allows for the host organization to set the price they charge the participants, which means the host organization can make a profit or offset the costs passed on to their attendees. That being said, we will NOT allow organizations to charge amounts that we feel would make our clinic financially out of reach for most attendees.

• Example Camp Finances: A Camp 4 hours from San Antonio - 2 Days, 8 total hours with Coach Mattera and 3 assistants: $370/Hr. = $2960 + $400 drive time + $250 for 2 hotel rooms, and a $240 for staff meals = $3850 total. So, if you get 30 kids at the camp, that would break down to just under $130 per kid for an 8 hour camp with a player to coach ratio of less than 8-1. This is just a rough example but should give you a ball park idea!

2. How Far Are You Willing To Travel?

• In just our first couple years of doing these, we have traveled to Colorado, Nebraska, Louisiana, Ohio, North Carolina, Tennessee, Wyoming, Montana, and Utah.

• We are currently talking to groups in Oregon, California, Delaware, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and even Alaska!

• Bottom line, we love connecting with and working with volleyball people from everywhere – it’s part of the joy of More Than Wins!!!

3. What Do You Provide? What Do We Provide?

• We will work with you to develop the right format for your group, whether it be a mix of classroom and court sessions for a coaching clinic, or figuring out the right mix of training hours for your players within the facility parameters.

• We can bring as many staffers as you’d like or it can be just Coach Mattera to lead, and you provide the court assistants for camp or demo players for the coaching clinic.

• You provide the facility and plenty of balls. We generally bring some extra training “toys” that we like to use for teaching.

• You handle the registration and waivers – we can provide you proof of insurance, etc.

• If you want to open your event up to anyone, we are willing to promote your event on our website and social media pages.
